Camera Tek can provide a quotation on the servicing and or repairing of all your Canon, Pentax, Fujifilm and Samsung photographic equipment. We can also provide a quotation on re-calibration of most binocular brands and models. The providing of a quotation is subject to our terms of conditions – details can be found under our FAQ section on our website, on our repair forms available on our website and at any of our branches.
Repairs
Camera Tek are the official repair centre for Canon, Pentax, Fujifilm and Samsung photo / video products in South Africa. Our workshops are fully equipped to handle the service and repair of your equipment to internationally recognized standards. Our technicians are factory trained and have attended overseas training at various centres in countries including Belguim, Italy, Japan, England, Holland, Germany and Russia. Our workshop managers alone have a combined total camera repair experience of over 71 years. We are more than capable of performing any work required to meet and exceed your expectations.
Sensor cleaning
Due to the climatic conditions in South Africa, Digital SLR users often find themselves in need of a sensor blowout to remove those irritating dust particles that find their way into your DSLR and onto your camera’s sensor, resulting in spots appearing in your pictures. We offer a sensor clean that is a sensor and mirror box housing blowout (can be done while you wait), with test pictures taken and digitally analyzed to confirm the success of the sensor blowout. This sensor clean is only suitable for DSLR’s that are in a relatively clean condition, where you are experiencing problems with only a handful of spots appearing on your pics. The cost for this clean is currently R115 + VAT if successful.
Complete Service
The complete service of a camera involves among other things, a complete strip down of your camera’s body (or other photographic hardware). The camera will then be cleaned from the inside out, including all casings, shutter, mirror box housing, sensor and all internal parts (some wear and tear parts may also need replacing ). The camera is then re-assembled, recalibrated and tested. The cost for this complete service is model dependent, condition dependent and dependent on any spares that may need replacing. Express repairs
In order to improve our service to our customers, we have set up an express repair counter at each of our branches where minor repairs such as LCD replacements minor cosmetic repairs are handled while you wait. Your camera will be assessed by an express repair technician and he will confirm if the repair can be done straight away (checking type of repair, spares availability) or whether it will need to be booked in. If it is confirmed that an express repair can be done, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of water, read a magazine or browse our extensive photographic sales displays.
Canon Technical helpdesk
Camera Tek has been tasked by Canon SA with handling the technical helpdesk function for all the Canon photo/video products sold in SA. This service is provided to Canon customers and includes the following: All telephonic technical queries relating to usage and software for the Canon photo / video product you have purchased. Available to walk in customers at our JHB branch for any technical queries relating to usage and software issues regarding your Canon product. Available for all email technical queries relating to your Canon product.
Spare parts distribution
Camera Tek import Canon and Pentax spares directly from the Canon and Pentax spares distribution warehouses in Europe. We import Fujifilm spares from Japan via the local importing distributors and order Samsung spares directly from Samsung SA. The spares are warehoused at our main branch in Johannesburg and distributed to our branches countrywide. We carry over 10 000 line items of spares at any given time.We are the leading supplier of spares to general photographic workshops and private customers in South Africa and parts of Sub Saharan Africa.
Data recovery
Oops, you deleted your once in a lifetime holiday pictures. Camera Tek specializes in the recovery of lost data that has been deleted or formatted off your memory card by mistake. For information on this service please contact Anwar at our JHB branch or at helpdesk@cameratek.co.za

Once you’ve read through these easy steps, click on “Proceed to Online Order Form and Price List”, below. Step 2:
On the Online Order Form and Price List, all the Curriculum Levels are listed sequentially in the left hand margin.
Scroll down to through the Curriculum levels and add individual subjects to your Shopping Trolley from our selection of Grade 1, 2, 3 etc. Disciplined Studies (Mathematics, English etc.), then scroll down further and make your selection of either a Core Package 3 – 5 Years, 4 – 6 Years etc. or Core 1, 2, 3 etc. Studies (Bible and Character, History, Geography etc.) based on the needs of your family. (For guidance in regard to Disciplined Studies, Core Packages and Core Studies, refer "How it Works”)
At any time you can click on “View Shopping Trolley” to determine a Cost Estimate for yourself.
PLEASE NOTE: You are not required to order the full range of subjects we offer in our Disciplined Studies and Core Studies (only our Core Packages are indivisible), you are welcome to order as little as one subject at a time.
Step 3:
Once you are satisfied with your selection of subjects and you have double-checked against the Ordering Checklist (on the “View Shopping Trolley” screen, kindly select your “Place of Delivery” from the drop-down box at the top of the screen. Please note: once you’ve done this, your Order Total will then include costs for “Fulfilment” (Packaging, delivery to your selected “Place of Delivery” etc.); and you will not be charged anything more for the delivery of your entire order!
International clients please note:
Love2Learn will only be able to quote you officially for courier delivery once your order is complete, as we will then be able to accurately determine size and weight of the boxes that make up your order.
Step 4:
Click “Next” and complete the "Family Contact Information" screen; read and acknowledge our Terms and Conditions and then click "Send Order". A copy of your order will be e-mailed to you immediately for your records.
Please note: The submission of an order online, is in no way binding on you!
Step 5:
On receipt of your online order, Love2Learn will compile a Proforma Invoice (Quotation) which will be e-mailed to you within 24 – 72 hours for your consideration, together with a “Reference Number” and “link” to our secure online payment portal.
Should you wish to accept this Proforma Invoice, you can then click on the “link” in the covering e-mail that accompanies your Proforma Invoice and make your payment.

Please forward your confirmation of payment either via email to info@love2learn.co.za, or via fax to 086 511 8407 (South Africa only).
Please note: Your order will only be processed once payment in full has been received.

National School Chaplaincy Programme
The National School Chaplaincy Programme is part of a movement that has begun in South Africa where educators are much more involved with the day to day real life issues in their learner’s lives.
The National School Chaplaincy Programme is a joint initiative of Reaching a Generation, Joyce Meyer Ministries and One Hope. They have began the National School Chaplaincy Programme to build a structure from which we can help interested educators build capacity, receive resources and be part of a team working together.
The programme is a Christian based and designed to inculcate good values in the lives of children and youth. It aims to equip educators to appropriately deal with the problems that many young people face.
