Text Widget�Links — Support — WordPress.com: If you would like to add a link in your sidebar but don’t know how to write HTML code, the easiest way is to start a new post (make sure it is empty) and use the Visual editor to create your link.
After you create the link, switch from the Visual editor to the Text editor.
